Paraclete Consulting Group Survival Pistol Course

This is an 8-hour training event focusing on pistol survival skills and performance. This is an advanced course focusing on over 15 shooting positions, injured reloads, injured malfunction clearing and reloads.   

The course will cover:

• Survival Mindset Shooting
• Surviving lethal encounters
• The 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship
• Non-Traditional Shooting Platforms Standing/Backing/Advancing on imminent threats similar      to driver side contact and immediate threat engagements
• Getting off the X
• Kneeling: Kneeling Right/Left/Double Kneeling with Reloads
• Prone: Prone Right/Prone Left and modified with Reloads
• Supine: Supine Right/Supine Left with Reloads
• Strong Hand engagements with Strong Hand Only Reloads
• Support Hand engagements with Support Hand Only Reloads
• Strong Hand Only Malfunction Clearing Type: 1/2/3
• Support Hand Only Malfunction Clearing Type: 1/2/3

All shooters need a semi-auto handgun, holster designed for that weapon, 3 magazines each, magazine pouch, belt, associated gear, eye and ear protection and ammo. We will be shooting steel so you MUST have side shields on your eye protection. Please bring all needed gear and the ammo you possess. Your ammo allotment, depends on how much you wish to shoot. Most ORD's do not exceed 250 rounds. 

Participation in training requires exercises and tests of physical agility, physical excursion, rapid heart rate, unconventional shooting positions in which the attendee assumes full responsibility for his/her own safety and improper weapons handling skills.

All attendees MUST acknowledge the Release of Liability Waiver and Safety Brief prior to registering and paying.
