Defensive Pistol 

This is a 4-hour pistol training event focusing on close quarters tactics ///Please note the time change.\\\

 This class will focus on close quarters tactics in the home, workplace and urban environment. The course will teach the principles of close confined space defensive skills, room entry skills, room clearing, room search, target identification, situation assessment and shoot don't shoot scenarios with force on force drills.

Attendees need a semi-automatic handgun, quality IWB, AIWB or OWB holster designed for that weapon, 3 magazines, double magazine pouch, belt, associated gear, eye and ear protection.

Only 150 rounds of ammo is needed for this class.

We will be shooting steel so you MUST have side shields on your eye protection. It is recommended you bring clear eye protection for the shoot house. Group I will begin in the non-ballistic training building while Group II is conducting live fire training to support unconventional positional shooting, shooting behind cover and from doorways. The groups will rotate and repeat the training blocks.

Participation in training requires exercises and tests of physical agility, physical excursion, mental and physical stress, rapid heart rate, unconventional shooting positions in which the attendee assumes full responsibility for his/her own safety and improper weapons handling skills.

All attendees MUST acknowledge the Release of Liability Waiver and Safety Brief prior to registering and paying.

All attendees MUST RSVP and prepay by using the event tool.
